Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using PetNimbus. By accessing or using our service, you
agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using PetNimbus, operated by GoodShift Private Limited (CIN: U63122BR2026PTC081407), you agree to these
Terms. If you disagree, please don't use our service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter contracts per the Indian Contract Act,
1872, and provide accurate information.
3. User Accounts
- Creation: Accounts require phone number verification. One person, one account rule applies.
- Security: You are responsible for account security.
- Termination: We may terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, or illegal activities.
4. Service Description
PetNimbus provides a comprehensive digital ecosystem for pet parents. The following services are currently live:
- Pet Adoption: Browse verified pet listings, swipe to like, and connect with owners for responsible adoption.
- Responsible Mating: Connect verified pet owners for ethical mating. Available in select areas of Bangalore; expanding pan-India.
- Lost & Found: Report or find lost pets using community alerts and location-based notifications.
- AI Nutrition Plans: Receive AI-generated diet and exercise plans personalized to your pet's breed, age, and health profile.
- Pet Financial Hub: Log and track all pet-related expenses including vet bills, food, grooming, and accessories.
- Vaccination Roadmap: Track vaccination history, receive automated reminders, and view a WSAVA-compliant age-appropriate vaccination roadmap.
- Daily Diary & Observations: Log your pet's daily meals, exercise, weight, mood, and health observations in a structured diary.
The PetNimbus B2B2C marketplace is now live in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with the following bookable services: Veterinary Clinics, Pet Groomers, Dog Walkers, Pet Trainers, Boarding Kennels & Homestays, Pet Daycares, and NGO/Animal Shelters. These services are expanding to additional cities. Service availability in your city is shown within the app.
5. B2B2C Appointment Services
5.1 Booking & Payment
- All service appointments require a deposit payment at time of booking via Razorpay (UPI, card, net banking).
- The deposit amount is shown during the booking flow before you confirm.
- Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment. A payment failure does not create a confirmed booking.
- GoodShift Private Limited acts as a marketplace intermediary. The service is provided by the listed business, not by PetNimbus.
5.2 Cancellation by Consumer
- You may cancel a confirmed appointment from the app up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full deposit refund.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time are non-refundable.
- NGO/Shelter inquiry bookings (no deposit) can be cancelled anytime at no charge.
5.3 Cancellation by Business
- If a business cancels a confirmed appointment, you will receive a full refund of your deposit within 5–7 business days.
- PetNimbus will notify you of the cancellation via push notification and email.
5.4 Rescheduling
- Rescheduling requests can be submitted through the app. Final approval of a reschedule is at the business's discretion.
- A reschedule does not reset the cancellation window. Original booking time is used for the 24-hour policy.
5.5 Service Intake Forms
- Some services (vet, groomer, walker, boarding) require completion of an intake form before or during booking. You consent to sharing your pet's health and behavioral information with the service provider for the purpose of delivering the service.
- This information is not used for any other purpose and is not visible to other users.
5.6 Vet Clinical Notes
- After a completed veterinary appointment, the vet may add clinical notes (diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions) to your appointment record. These are visible only to you in the app.
- Clinical notes are for your personal reference and record-keeping. They do not constitute a prescription valid outside the PetNimbus platform. Always consult the attending veterinarian for official medical documentation.
5.7 Walker GPS Tracking
- Dog walker sessions may include GPS tracking of the walk route. You consent to this tracking when you book a walker service.
- GPS data is used to provide you with a walk report after the session. Route data is stored for 30 days and then deleted.
5.8 Boarding Care Sheets
- Boarding service bookings include a care sheet where you provide instructions for feeding, medication, behavior, and preferences for your pet during their stay.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted in the care sheet. Incorrect information that leads to adverse outcomes is your responsibility.
5.9 Platform Commission
- PetNimbus charges a platform commission on completed appointments. This commission is deducted from the business's payout. The consumer pays the full listed price; no additional charges apply.
5.10 Reviews & Ratings
- You may leave a star rating (1–5) and optional comment for a completed appointment within 14 days of the appointment date.
- Reviews are public and attached to the business listing.
- Businesses may reply to reviews. Replies must comply with our User Conduct policy.
- Consumer conduct ratings (used internally for trust scoring) are NOT shown to consumers and are used only for service provider safety.
5.11 Geographic Availability
- B2B2C services are currently available in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The app applies geo-filtering to show only businesses in your area.
- Attempting to book a service outside the active service area is not supported.
6. Business Account Terms
6.1 Eligibility
- Businesses must complete KYC verification (Aadhaar, PAN, or business registration documents) before their listing goes live.
- Businesses must be legally registered to provide the services they list (e.g., a vet clinic must be registered with the Veterinary Council of India).
6.2 Listing Accuracy
- Businesses are responsible for keeping their service listings, pricing, working hours, and availability accurate.
- False, misleading, or fraudulent listings will result in immediate suspension and potential legal action.
6.3 Staff Accounts
- Business owners may create staff accounts. Staff are bound by these Terms when using the PetNimbus Business platform.
- Business owners are responsible for the actions of their staff on the platform.
6.4 Payouts
- Earnings from completed appointments are calculated monthly and paid to the verified bank account on record after deduction of platform commission and applicable TDS.
- TDS is deducted as required under the Income Tax Act, 1961. TDS certificates will be issued annually.
- Payouts are withheld if the business account is suspended, under review, or has pending disputes.
6.5 Service Standards
- By listing on PetNimbus, businesses commit to: (a) providing services as described; (b) maintaining a safe and hygienic environment; (c) handling pets with care and professionalism; (d) notifying consumers of any issues promptly.
- Repeated poor reviews, complaints, or safety incidents may result in delisting.
7. Feature-Specific Terms
Financial Hub
- Expense data you enter is stored privately in your account and is not shared with third parties.
- Receipt scanning uses AI (OpenAI API) to parse expense information. You consent to submitting receipt images for AI processing when using this feature.
- PetNimbus does not provide financial, tax, or accounting advice. Expense logs are for personal tracking only.
Vaccination Roadmap & Reminders
- Vaccination records, reminders, and roadmaps are based on WSAVA 2024 guidelines and are for informational and tracking purposes only.
- This is NOT a substitute for veterinary advice. All vaccination decisions must be made in consultation with a licensed veterinarian.
- Automated reminder emails and push notifications are sent based on dates you provide. PetNimbus is not liable for missed vaccinations arising from incorrect dates or notification failures.
AI Nutrition Plans
- Nutrition plans are generated by AI based on the pet profile data you provide. These are general recommendations only and are not veterinary medical advice.
- Always consult a licensed veterinarian before significantly changing your pet's diet, especially for pets with health conditions.
Smart Pet Match (Compatibility Score)
- The compatibility percentage (%) displayed on adoption and mating cards is a computed indicator based on pet profile attributes. It is a tool to assist your decision-making and does not guarantee a successful match or a healthy mating outcome.
- PetNimbus makes no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of compatibility scores.
Daily Diary & Check-In
- Daily diary logs (meals, exercise, weight, mood, observations) are private to your account.
- Health alerts generated within the diary are automated system notifications based on your logged data and are not a diagnosis or medical advice.
- Streak data and completion rates are for personal motivation and carry no legal or medical significance.
8. User Conduct
- Do: Provide accurate info, treat users respectfully, comply with laws, and meet in safe
public places.
- Don't: Post false content, harass users, sell/buy pets illegally, engage in animal cruelty,
or spam others.
9. Content Guidelines
- Pet Photos: Must be of actual pets (no stock photos), clear, recent, and owned by you.
- Rights: You retain ownership but grant us a license to display and store your content.
10. Payments & Subscriptions
10.1 Subscription Plans (all prices exclude 18% GST)
- FREE — ₹0. Core pet profiles, adoption browsing, Daily Diary (basic), basic
Vaccination Roadmap, basic Smart Pet Match.
- BASIC — ₹249/month or ₹1,499/year. Adds AI Nutrition Plans (limited), advanced
Daily Diary, Financial Hub, 3 Super Likes per week, standard booking discovery.
- PREMIUM — ₹549/month or ₹3,999/year. Adds unlimited AI Nutrition Plans, full
Vaccination Roadmap, 5 Super Likes per week, 5 Chat Initiation Credits per week, reveal-without-token,
priority support, and zero platform fee on B2B2C appointment bookings.
- Mating Subscription — ₹299/month or ₹699/3 months (excluding GST). Available in the
Bengaluru launch zone. Unlocks the Responsible Mating feature set.
10.2 In-App Purchases (Consumables)
- Super Like Bundles: 3 for ₹45, 5 for ₹75, 10 for ₹149 (excluding GST). Purchased bundles
are lifetime until consumed.
- Reveal Tokens: 1 for ₹49, 5 for ₹199, 10 for ₹349 (excluding GST). One token unblurs one
profile. Once a reveal is executed, the token is non-refundable.
- Nutrition Tokens: ₹29–₹299 depending on bundle and first-time status.
10.3 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
- iOS (Apple App Store): Subscriptions are auto-renewable. Payment is charged to your
Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless you turn off
auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for
renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions and turn off
auto-renewal at Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your device.
- Android: Subscriptions are auto-renewable via Razorpay recurring payments. Your
registered payment method (UPI mandate or card) is charged automatically at the start of each billing
cycle. Cancel auto-renewal from the Subscription screen within the app.
- Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period.
You retain access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
10.4 Tokens & Virtual Currency
- In-app tokens (Super Likes, Reveal Tokens, Nutrition Tokens, Chat Initiation Credits) have no cash value,
cannot be converted to money, and are non-transferable between users.
- Consumable tokens are "consumed" immediately upon use and are non-refundable once consumed.
- Subscription-included quotas (e.g., weekly Super Likes in BASIC/PREMIUM) do NOT carry forward to the next
week if unused.
10.5 B2B2C Appointment Deposits
For professional service appointment bookings (vet, groomer, walker, trainer, boarding, daycare, NGO
inquiries), the deposit collected at booking is:
- Commission (8%, 10%, 15%, or 0% of the Service Price depending on the Business
partnership track) +
- Platform Fee (₹49 for FREE/BASIC users, ₹0 for PREMIUM users, ₹0 for NGO/Shelter
bookings) +
- 18% GST on the PetNimbus-collected share.
The remainder of the Service Price ("Clinic Balance") is paid directly to the Business at the time of
service. Please refer to Section 5 (B2B2C Appointment Services) and our
Refund & Cancellation Policy for deposit treatment,
cancellation rules, and refund mechanics.
10.6 Referral Program Rewards
- Tokens earned through the PetNimbus referral program are non-transferable,
non-convertible to cash, and non-refundable.
- Referral tokens have lifetime validity and never expire.
- Referral tokens are consumed only after your monthly subscription-included tokens are exhausted.
- PetNimbus reserves the right to revoke referral tokens in cases of suspected abuse (fake accounts,
self-referrals, chargebacks on referral-driven purchases).
11. Intellectual Property
PetNimbus name, logo, and code are trademarks/proprietary to GoodShift Private Limited. You may not copy or
distribute them without permission.
12. Disclaimers & Limitations
- "As Is": Service provided without warranties. No guarantee of matching success.
- Safety: We are not responsible for offline interactions or pet health issues. Verify
health certificates independently.
- Medical Disclaimer: Nothing on PetNimbus — including vaccination roadmaps, AI nutrition
plans, diary health alerts, or compatibility scores — constitutes veterinary medical advice. Always consult
a qualified veterinarian for health decisions.
- Financial Disclaimer: Expense tracking and financial data in the Financial Hub are for
personal reference only and do not constitute financial, tax, or accounting advice.
- AI Outputs: AI-generated content (nutrition plans, receipt parsing) may contain errors.
You are responsible for verifying AI outputs before acting on them.
- No SLA / Uptime Guarantee: PetNimbus is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not
commit to any specific uptime, response time, or service-level agreement. Planned maintenance windows are
communicated in advance where practicable; unplanned downtime is addressed as quickly as reasonably
possible.
- Liability: Limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months, to the maximum extent
permitted by Indian law.
12A. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms to the extent such
failure or delay is caused by events beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, including but not
limited to: acts of God, natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, cyclones), pandemics or epidemics, government
orders, lockdowns, curfews, war, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, labour disputes, internet or
telecommunications outages, failures of upstream service providers (AWS, Razorpay, Firebase, 2Factor.in),
power-grid failures, or any other cause not reasonably foreseeable and avoidable. The affected party shall
notify the other party promptly of the force majeure event and shall resume performance as soon as reasonably
practicable.
12B. Service Modification & Discontinuation
PetNimbus reserves the right, at any time, to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, service,
subscription plan, partnership track, or the entire Platform, in whole or in part, with or without notice.
Material changes affecting paid features will be communicated with 15 days' advance notice via in-app
notification or email where reasonably practicable. PetNimbus shall have no liability to any user arising
from modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service, except to the extent that an active paid
subscription is terminated mid-term, in which case a pro-rated refund may be issued at PetNimbus's sole
discretion.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GOODSHIFT Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and
affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, fines, penalties, and costs (including reasonable
legal fees) arising from (a) your use of the service, (b) your user-generated content, (c) your violation of
these Terms, (d) your violation of any applicable law, (e) your offline interactions with other users or
businesses initiated through the platform.
Reciprocally, GOODSHIFT Private Limited shall defend and hold harmless users from claims arising from its
own wilful misconduct or gross negligence in operating the Platform, subject to the Limitation of Liability
in Section 12.
13A. Consumer Rights Under the Consumer Protection Act 2019
PetNimbus operates as an "e-commerce entity" within the meaning of Section 2(16) of the Consumer Protection
Act 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020. In keeping with Section 4D of the Consumer
Protection Act 2019, consumers using PetNimbus have the right to:
- Be informed about the quality, quantity, standard, and price of services before purchase.
- Exercise choice of service providers and plans.
- Seek redressal against unfair or restrictive trade practices.
- Consumer education through this document and the accompanying
Privacy Policy and
Refund Policy.
- File a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) or the appropriate Consumer Disputes
Redressal Commission if a grievance is not resolved to satisfaction through the PetNimbus grievance
process.
14. Dispute Resolution
Governed by Indian Law. Resolution via good faith negotiation (30 days), followed by mediation, and then
arbitration (Arbitration Act, 1996).
15. Special Terms for India
Intermediary Status: We operate as an intermediary under Section 79 of the IT Act, 2000. We
are not responsible for user-generated content.

PetNimbus complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) with respect to collection, processing, and storage of personal data of Indian residents.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through in-app notifications or email. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
